Set in an excellent location from which to explore and enjoy the very centre of Whitby, 'Ripley's Cottage' is nestled in one of the town's many old yards on the west side. From here you really do have everything within easy walking distance, perfect for mooching round the shops, sampling the delights of our many restaurants and cafes or a walk along the beach to Sandsend for the more energetic amongst you! Set over three floors this cottage is a good choice for a family or, with the benefit of two bathrooms, equally for two couples sharing. Your well-behaved pet is also welcome, ground floor only and not on the furniture please - perfect!

Communal yard. Entrance into lounge with kitchen area; 1st floor: master double bedroom; shower room; 2nd floor: twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

Another good stay. Disappointed we can't come back next year. Found a clock propping the books up, a wind up type. Incredible tick. time keeping got better as the clock work runs down. The chip shop was even better this year.

Thank you we had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the cottage and where it is situated. Thank you for the lovely touches such as milk in the fridge which was really appreciated after a long drive from home for a nice cup of tea the lovely jam cake and biscuits and tea. We have stayed here before my husband and I once and my mum and step-dad twice. We would highly recommend this cottage to family and friends and hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you once again.

Thank you so much for another wonderful stay in your lovely cottage. The location is absolutely perfect. Your 'Welcome pack' and milk in the fridge was so appreciated -a lovely touch. The cottage is extremely well equipped and very easy, a perfect little home from home! See you next year.
