Wonderful to be back at Powder Keg for Whitby Folk Week 2022. Powder Keg is great as always, comfortable, clean and cosy and a perfect location.

Lovely clean Powder Keg. Once again we have had a wonderful holiday with our grandchildren.
The weather has been good so we have been able to go onto the beach where the children have been able to hire body boards and surf boards.
We have managed to get our steps in walking the cinder track from Whitby to Robin Hoods Bay.
The last part of my Challenge 42 walk for One by One. We have also managed to walk both piers on an evening with treats of great sunsets.

Just had a lovely New Year break staying in "Powder Keg" which is a lovely ground floor apartment right in the centre of everything. Powder Keg is a lovely comfy and clean accommodation with evrything you need.

Back for the second time this year. The cottage is lovely, cosy and welcoming as always. I love that Powder Keg is so accessible to everything as well as being a comfortable home from home. At last government acts with common sense & finally stops persecuting the hospitality section who I find to be the most efficient at organising a sterile environment. Lovely located apartment. Great homely feel convenient for everything Whitby has to offer. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable, homely and cosy. great beds and bedding for a good nights sleep. Spent our 31st anniversary here in style. Thank you for a wonderful break.

As usual Powder Keg is a lovely base for a Whitby holiday. The weather has been amazing giving us chance to walk, the old railway track from Hawsker, along the beach to Sandsend, and part of the Cleveland way to the lighthouse where we found a delightful coffee shop. Returning to Whitby for delicious fish and chips and able to chill at Powder Keg. A most enjoyable break.

We've enjoyed our holiday in Whitby and loved staying at Powder Keg apartment. It is lovely and central for everything. Apartment is clean, modern, bright and comfy. Lovely and warm too! We even had a little visitor seagull at our window which made us chuckle! Thanks for everything.

Came for a week, wish it was a lot longer!! Great apartment super comfy beds, super clean easy for all attractions. Having minimal steps was a great bonus for me as my mobility is poor. Look forward to coming back.
